Artists United Against Overdose  is a visionary mission. We are building a media based initiative with the goal of reducing the harm and needless fatalities that our present world faces daily. Our intention is to unite the worlds of creatve arts, mental health and addictions recovery into an ecosystem of combined efforts and talents. Thro

Artists United Against Overdose  is a visionary mission. We are building a media based initiative with the goal of reducing the harm and needless fatalities that our present world faces daily. Our intention is to unite the worlds of creatve arts, mental health and addictions recovery into an ecosystem of combined efforts and talents. Through the power of our creative expression, we reignite human potential. We work toward healing individual lives and communities. We have the skills, talents, and compassion. Our media products are fueled by the people, stories, and tools we have gathered  to augment all efforts to adress this most serious crisis. Our vision is global; our action is local and tangible.

Our Mission

C G Rice is an artist, author and performer from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. As the founder of Artists United Against Overdose, he has spent years on the front lines  of the mental health and addictions crisis, working extensively in harm reduction and food security. In 2022 he was a recipient of the prestigious Shem Tov Award in recognition of his outstanding community service.
